I am from China, and I pursued my BSc and MSci degrees at University College London, UK. Now for my PhD at UZH, I will explore the coevolution of plant and its interacting insect in the changing climate. This will be achieved by examining the genome-environment associations in the field populations of a fast-cycling plant and its pollinating-herbivore, experimentally assessing the co-evolutionary responses of these species, and, by performing experimental evolution, examining how interaction with insect (by pollination and herbivory) could impact the ability of plants to adapt to a changing climate. I hope to better understand the evolutionary and ecological consequences of climate change in the context of biotic interactions.
