I am interested in evolution as well as plants in general, like their ecology and diversity. In my master’s project, I am studying seasonal variation in phenotypic selection in Raphanus raphanistrum populations in Switzerland. This includes fieldwork in autumn and in spring to measure different plant traits like plant height or floral scent. By later counting the number of seeds, I will be able to assign fitness to each plant and thus study the importance of the measured plant traits.
